Do I have to pay postage for products I want to return and/or exchange? As well as the postage of my new order?

The shipping costs (to be made by Kids Department) of an exchanged product, have to be paid by Kids Department. If you place a new order, then these costs must be paid by the client.

Free shipping is valid with orders over €49,95. (within the Netherlands)

When will my order be delivered?

Orders will normally be send within 24 hours on working days. 
Depending on the chosen shipping method.

Can I have my order delivered to an alternative delivery address?

Yes, you can. If you want your order to be delivered at an alternative address, please select an alternative address when filling in the data. You can only choose one delivery address per order.

Complaint handling

If you have a complaint, please contact us ASAP. Every complaint will be dealt with in a correct way.

I have received a wrong package, what do I do?

Please contact us ASAP. Telephone number: +31 174 731 648. Also you can fill in the contact form and report that there has been a wrong delivery. We will contact you.

What happens to my personal data?

The data you pass on online to Kids Department, will not be passed on to others. Other Information, among others received by the contact form, we use only to improve the content of our website Kids Department.

Can I cancel or change my order?

Before payment you can always cancel and/or change your order in the shopping basket. After the payment is done, this is not possible anymore. If you still want to cancel and/or change the order, please contact us ASAP at telephone number +31 174 731 648 or fill in our contact form.

How do I place an order?

  • In the shopping basket all chosen items are listed. When have finished shopping, click on the "view basket" button, here you can review the entire list of items you have placed in your basket. You can make some changes to your order or continue shopping. If you wish to continue shopping click the "continue shopping" button and your order will be saved.
  • You have the option to make an account.
  • Fill in your personal data in order to continue with the payment.
  • Select here which payment and shipping method you would like to use and proceed to the next step.
  • Follow the instructions on screen. The payment can be done by iDEAL, banktransfer or in cash with pick up. After the payment is conducted, you return to our website. You receive an order confirmation on screen and another confirmation via email.

Is my order succesfully placed?

When you have placed an order, a confirmation is send to the selected email address. If you have not received a confirmation email, this can have the following reasons:

  • A wrong email address has been filled in. Check if your order is mentioned at "my order".
  • The order is not done yet. Check if the products are still in your shopping basket and finish your order.
  • I received a gift coupon. How do I use it?

    On the gift coupon is a unique code with a linked amount, which is mentioned on the gift coupon. In the order process you fill this coupon in at the shopping cart (discount code box + press add). The amount is then subtracted from the total amount.

    • The code cannot be used in combination with other actions.
    • The code is case-sensitive and has to be filled in exactly as mentioned on the gift coupon.
    • It is not possible to use the gift coupon in a series of current orders. Also is the gift coupon not exchangeable for cash.
    • If the total amount is higher than the value of the gift coupon, you end up automatically at the cash register, where you can pay the remaining amount.
    • The gift coupon is only to be used at the online shop of Kids Department.

    Is it possible to order a size which does not exist in the online shop?

    Most products on the website are single pieces. Nevertheless for some products it is possible to order other sizes. In order to do this, you have to send an email to info@kidsdepartment.nl. We can check up on it and inform you.

    Is it truly safe to pay online?

    iDEAL is the safest and fastest payment method on the internet. You pay via your own, familiar bank by internet banking.

    Do you have a store as well?

    Yes! This is located at 130-132 Herenstraat, Wateringen. Open from Tuesday / Saturday from 10:00-17:00.
